Where Art Meets Heart & Healing

Bio

My creative path started early in Hong Kong, blossoming through my work as a hairdresser. In 1995, I moved to New York City for a modeling career, quickly feeling at home amidst the city's vibrant energy and its inspiring art scene, which became a significant influence on my artistic development.

I later pursued formal education, spending nine years at Brooklyn College to earn a B.A. in Fine Arts and an M.A. in Community Health with a specialization in Thanatology. This academic journey led me to impactful hospice work, where I offered vital education and grief support to the Verde Valley community.

After my hospice work experience, I established the Grief Support Center at the Hillside of Sedona. Through this center, I’ve had the privilege of creating various community-focused events, such as healing art painting classes, teaching a "Death and Dying" class through the Yavapai OLLI program, presenting "The Death Monologues" with Giselle Suarez, facilitating "Death over Dinner" events, and organizing a "Death and Dying" film series in partnership with Yavapai College and the Mary Fisher Theatre. Collaboration with local community organizations has always been central to my work.

Though I've always found joy in nature's colors, my relocation to Arizona profoundly reshaped my artistic perspective. The desert's breathtaking beauty illuminated the essential link between nature and the divine, guiding my art to now explore the intrinsic beauty and spiritual connections interwoven within God's creations.

Today, I am inspired to re-enter and serve my community by pursuing an education in chaplaincy through the I.F.O.C. and to embrace my arts as a side career.

Thank you for visiting my website and may God bless you all!
